Download miaPOS App

Install the miaPOS app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

Log In

Enter your merchant credentials provided by your bank to activate the app.

STEP 1

Download the miaPOS App

Download miaPOS from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android 9+). Install and launch the app. On Android, you will be prompted to grant NFC and notification permissions — accept both for full functionality including NFC tap-to-pay. On iOS, the app supports QR code payments; NFC contactless acceptance is available exclusively on Android devices.

STEP 2

Log In with Your Credentials

Launch the app and enter the merchant credentials provided by your acquiring bank. The first login activates your phone as a registered payment terminal. Your device is now linked to your merchant account, and you can start accepting payments immediately. You can manage multiple sellers under the same account via the Merchant Portal.

STEP 3

Accept Payments!

Enter the payment amount and choose your method. On Android: NFC tap-to-pay (the customer taps their card or phone to the back of your device) or QR code. On iOS: display a dynamic QR code for the customer to scan with their banking app. On both platforms, payment confirmation appears instantly on your screen and a receipt can be sent via SMS or email.

Which phones are compatible with miaPOS?

miaPOS works on both iOS and Android. iPhone users can accept QR code payments. Android users (Android 9+) get the full experience: QR payments plus NFC tap-to-pay contactless acceptance. Most modern Samsung, Xiaomi, Google Pixel and other Android devices with NFC work out of the box.

Is miaPOS as secure as a physical terminal?

Yes. miaPOS uses the same encryption and security protocols as dedicated POS terminals. All payment data is processed in a secure element on the device and never stored locally. The app is PCI DSS compliant.

Can I use my phone for personal tasks while miaPOS is active?

Absolutely. The miaPOS app runs in the background and only activates when you open it to process a payment. Your phone remains fully usable for calls, messages, and other apps.

Do I need a separate merchant account for miaPOS?

No. miaPOS uses the same merchant account as your other terminals. You can manage all devices (physical POS and phone terminals) from a single Merchant Portal dashboard.
